About Kate

Let’s Reach Your Goals Together

With person-centred support

I am Kate. As a BACP registered Counsellor and Therapist based in Wigton, Cumbria, I specialise in helping adults and young people overcome trauma and find their path to healing.

As an experienced trauma therapist, I provide a safe, supportive environment where your journey toward healing can begin.

I always aim to create a safe, supportive and comfortable space for those seeking counselling and therapy services.

My Approach

My person-centered integrative approach means that therapy is tailored specifically to your unique needs and experiences. I believe you have the inner resources for positive change, and my role is to help you access these strengths and develop new skills to manage life’s challenges.

My Experience and Skills

I am experienced in working with people (adults and young adults) impacted by trauma, including sexual and domestic abuse and exploitation. I recognise how trauma can result in deeply embedded emotions such as anger, shame or anxiety.

I also work with young adults, to provide an understanding, empathic, and non-judgmental space for them to share their worries and feelings.
